After I win the powerball, I will be sending my Mom (and possibly Dad if he wants to go) to the following places:
France, perhaps Amsterdam
British Isles, then Alaska on Holland America
June, July, and August she’ll stay at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs
September, October at the Watergate in Washington DC
One week in Bakersfield, CA (she’ll have to pay for that herself)

But only for a big $4. So my revised ‘After The Powerball” dream will probably include a Soy Chai Latte. Large. Keep the change.

The Powerball is up to $380 million. If you take the cash option, and pay your taxes up front, you’d still walk home with nearly $100 million in pocket cash. I think I’d hire Karl Rove and Dick Cheney to carry me around on a litter. They’re probably not very good at it, but keeping them busy would make the world a safer place.
