After I win the powerball, I will be sending my Mom (and possibly Dad if he wants to go) to the following places:

France, perhaps Amsterdam

British Isles, then Alaska on Holland America

June, July, and August she’ll stay at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs

September, October at the Watergate in Washington DC

One week in Bakersfield, CA (she’ll have to pay for that herself)

Tookie Williams is the ultimate argument against the Death Penalty. Because, if there is any justice to the penalty, he deserved it as much as anyone, when convicted. However, the man he is today does not deserve death. Apparently, however, he will die anyway, because the Governator cannot afford the luxury of mercy (or decency).

Tragically, the Washington Post, which failed to notice the paper-thin tissue of lies that led is into war, has managed to debunk the toilet paper myth.

Metro keeps putting up signs that say:

“Pardon us while we upgrade!”

But there is no upgrading, the service is getting worse, the facilities breaking more often, and crowding just gets worse. Shouldn’t the signs say:

“Pardon us while we try and slow the ongoing deterioration?”
